Grad School: Build a Neural Network Framework from Scratch has no accounts and no server-side progress.
What leaves your browser
- The Python runtime. When you first run code, your browser downloads Pyodide 0.27.7 from
cdn.jsdelivr.net. That CDN sees your IP address, as any CDN does. Nothing you type is sent to it. Fonts, data and every other file come from this site.
Stored only in your browser
Nothing below is sent anywhere.
- IndexedDB "grad-school"
gaps: your code: one entry per gap you wrote, never whole files - IndexedDB "grad-school"
drafts: work in progress on a lesson you are rebuilding - IndexedDB "grad-school"
kept: your code, set aside when you used the reference for a lesson - IndexedDB "grad-school"
runs: the weights of your trained runs - IndexedDB "grad-school"
cache: which earlier lessons last passed with your code (the regression cache) - localStorage
gs:progress: answers, hint counts, lessons completed, reference swaps and once-per-lesson event flags - localStorage
gs:theme: your light or dark theme choice - localStorage
gs:backup: the date of your last backup - localStorage
gs:py-seen: whether Python has been downloaded once
"Erase everything on this device" on the syllabus page removes all of it (your theme choice stays). Clearing this site's data in your browser removes it too. Back up first if you want to keep your code.
